If you are in the market for a new aebleskiver pan and are not sure what pan to buy, you should first answer yourself the following questions:

What kind of stove will I be using it on?

Will you always be using this type of stoves?

Buying the right type of aebleskiver pan.

It has come to my attention that so many people are ordering an aebleskiver pan from me and anyone else, without being aware of what is the right pan for their stove. It is so important to match the pans to the stoves, in order to protect the stoves.  This is mainly for the ones that have the flat top electric stove tops.  If you use the wrong type of pans on them, you run the risk of damaging the stoves tops.

 For people with gas stoves you can use any of the pans on the market. It is then only a question on what you like and not what is right. But if you are buying for the flat top electric stoves, you have to be careful. There are two pans made specific for this type of stoves. If you have the magnetic induction stoves, which is still not so common in this country, you must use this #8 pan.

More and more people are buying these newer type of stoves and are not aware of the danger in using the wrong type of pans, either aebleskiver pans or any other type of cooking pan.  Anyone with the flat top stoves should read the warranty for their stoves, before venturing out and buying pots and pans.

We obtained these special aebleskiver pans made for this type of stoves some time ago, in order to have the right types available. You will not find them anywhere else.

If you know anyone wanting a pan and having this type of stoves, please advise them accordingly. So many customers have had to return their pans and exchange it for the right pan. It costs to return and is a shame to have to go through this.

I hope this will help someone to avoid the hassle and expense to go to exchange their purchase.
