It is made of cast iron and is a very sturdy pan. You will have many fun times using this special pan.

This pan is a copy of the old fashioned wooden stove pans. They are made to fit in to the rings of the wood stove. They can also be used on all gas and spiral electric stoves. It does not have the ring around the bottom to keep the heat evenly distributed to all holes, when used on a gas or electric stoves. If it have cold or hot spots you can cut the top of a #10 can and place on top of burner. This one has an cast iron handle, to give you the longest use without regards to the handle. It will give you many years of great use.

This one has a cast iron handle. You have to be careful when cooking, it will burn you when touching the handle. None of the contoured pans should be used on the flat top electric stoves. If you wash it, you have to cure it again, before storing in a dry place.
